DNA-encoded library (DEL) screening is a cutting-edge method for drug discovery. It involves creating libraries of small molecules tagged with DNA barcodes. These libraries are screened against target proteins, allowing rapid identification of potential drug candidates. 

Due to their complex nature, membrane proteins such as GPCRs, Ion Channels or SLC transporters can however be very challenging to use in DEL screenings. The Salipro® technology facilitates DEL screening of membrane proteins by maintaining their native structure and stability, thereby providing new possibilities for the development of novel drugs against challenging targets
