New study uses Salipro technology to reveal cryoEM structure of important cancer target

Most cancers depend on the export of lactate from the cells by so-called monocarboxylate transporters (MCTs). Salipro® technology helped to reveal how MCT1 forms a heterodimeric complex with its chaperone embigin and the implications on substrate affinity.
